Powering the Future: Polarium selects Telenor IoT for Enhanced Energy Storage Solutions

Telenor IoT, a global leader in IoT connectivity services, will provide Polarium, a leading energy storage developer, with managed IoT connectivity globally.

Under the terms of the agreement, Polarium will use Telenor IoT’s cellular managed connectivity to offer a range of digital solutions, including fleet management, remote monitoring, anti-theft, and tracking services.

Polarium Fleet Management service enables users to remotely monitor, control, and optimize their entire battery fleet. It offers predictive and preventive management, identifying issues before they harm operations, ultimately saving time and resources.

Key benefits for users include data-driven insights, analytics and advice for battery usage, optimization, and early detection of potential errors. This leads to more efficient troubleshooting, intelligent battery resource allocation, and peace of mind with warranty-compliant battery handling.

To help combat battery theft, Polarium has developed an intelligent anti-theft system featuring a patent pending locking mechanism and real-time tracking.

Speaking of the partnership, Stefan Jansson, founder and CEO of Polarium, says:

“We aim to solve our customers’ most challenging issues in the most innovative ways. With Managed IoT Connectivity, we introduce solutions that streamline operations, reduce ownership costs, and provide anti-theft capabilities. We’re proud to partner with Telenor IoT on our ongoing transformation.”

“Partnering with Polarium is a perfect match for our commitment to providing innovative IoT solutions. Polarium’s innovative approach to energy storage aligns with our mission to deliver dependable global IoT services to even the most remote areas. We look forward to continuing supporting Polarium on their transformation journey,” says Paulo Vergos, Chief Sales & Solution Officer at Telenor IoT.

Polarium will begin offering connectivity via Telenor IoT on its Energy Optimization Systems in Sweden. The company anticipates expanding the solution to more countries, emphasizing the importance of anti-theft features for remote deployments.
